The Pre-Processing Module is a modern data base application based on MS-Access. As such, it requires a modern computer system with the following
minimum requirements:
Processor 400 MHz
System Memory 128 MB (under Windows 98)
free Harddisk space 1 GB (for offline operation)
MS-Windows 98 SE or better
MS-Office Professional 2000
However, with that configuration, the application will run very slow. Therefore, one should keep at least the following
recommended system:
Processor 800 MHz or better
System Memory 256 MB or better
free Harddisk space 1 GB (for offline operation)
MS-Windows 2000 or better
MS-Office Professional 2000 or better
GIS software: The application is using a run-time version of MapObjects Light 2.0. The set-up files for installation are included on the distribution CD.
For monitoring and projection data, it is possible to access them from the ORACLE data base. To do so, you must have the Oracle ODBC driver installed on your local system.
