This sub-module permits the user to convert an ArcView shapefile (polygons only) it into a set of Surfer blanking files (*.bln).
For each polygon (= catchment), a single blanking file will be produced.
Furthermore, a *.lst-file will be generated containing the file names of all blanking files. This *.lst-file is required within step 2 of this application (calculation of daily/monthly or annual volumes).
The command is started pressing the button with the ArcView icon .
Note: The above described latest enhancements enable to create blanking files directly from shapefiles, without the use of ArcView and the intermediate conversion into ARC/INFO generate files (*.gen).
