The reference year is that year from which water use (not demand) statistics are used as a basis to make forecasts. Different from irrigation data, statistics are available for several years, although 1998 may be the most recent. The statistics are not on monthly but on quarterly basis, i.e. for groups of 3 months.
Note: Without a reference year the controls to preceed are disabled - you will not be able to build any forecasts !
The reference year is manually entered into the following field of the first form opening after the selection of the individual module:
If you loaded a previous session, the field of the reference year has a grey background and can not be edited.
