Objective of the Pre-Processing Modules

The Pre-Processing Modules are used to generate data on water resources and demands and store them in the STP (Scenario Tables Pool).

This refers both to historic data (uploading monitoring data to STP) and for projections data.

The Pre-processing modules give a common interface for the following resources:

waste water resources
additional resources

and the following demands:

municipal demands (including commercial, small industrial and pastoral demands)
tourist demands
industrial demands
losses

Due to their complexity, surface and groundwater resources as well as irrigation demands are subject of separate applications.

This online help, which can be directly called (in a context-sensitive way) from the Pre-Processing Module, is structured into the following main chapters:

general overview (main features of the application)
a fully interactive user guide (showing how to operate the module)
dataflow (including a detailed description of all tables used)
definitions of technical terms and algorithms
trouble shooting.
