Occupancy of Tourist installations

Table BED_UNITS belongs to the class of monitoring tables. It is required by the tourist module. BED_UNITS multiplied by OCCUPANCY rate gives the basis for calculation of tourist demand.

The table below shows just a small selection of records. At present, data coverage is limited to either year 1997 or 1998. Because of this poor data situation, the tourist module is able to link to occupancy rates from different monitoring years.

The most important fields are:

• SETT_ID (for linking)
• YEAR (time reference)
• BED_UNITS (as absolute figure, these are the actual monitoring data of interest)
