For future projections, up to three different scenarios can be distinguished. Each scenario uses its own specific pattern of crops.

Great care has to be taken to ensure, that the scenarios (for the different projection years and the different areas are following a logical pattern. Furthermore, it has to be taken care of, that there development scenarios are in tune with the demand and resources scenarios for the other sectors.
Note: The Scenarios are development scenarios. For each scenario, the 3 different hydrological year types apply!
