Rainfall data are shown on station locations only, no regionalisation (like averaging over an area) is done. The data shown are average annual rainfall totals over the period indicated. For monthly values no map will be produced.
Together with the map, automatically the corresponding legend will open (and close). The treshold values are fixed.

Alternative solution: A very different approach for data display is offered by the separate tool isomaps. It calculates and visualizes surface of rainfall totals (as well as modelled runoff, deep infiltration and actual evapotranspiration) out of availabe Surfer grids that were generated by the Rainfall/Runoff model. Therefore, it needs Surfer Program installed and all the surfer grids stored in a local directory.
