Occupancy of Tourist installations

Table OCCUPANCY belongs to the class of monitoring tables. BED_UNITS multiplied by OCCUPANCY rate gives the basis for calculation of tourist demand.

The table belows shows just a small selection of records. At present, data coverage is limited to the years 1996 and 1997. Because of this poor data situation, the tourist module is able to link to bed units from different monitoring years.

The most important fields are:

• SETT_ID (for linking)
• YEAR, MONTH (time reference)
• OCCUPANCY_RATE (in percent, these are the actual monitoring data of interest)
