Please click on the hyperlinks to see the examples.The irrigation areas are based on statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture; some of them were extrapolated from districts to irrigation centers. The most reliable data are available for year 1998.
Because tables and charts produced are 2-dimensional, the output is restricted by "table options".
Location: either a single or several (multi) locations can be shown in the table. The term 'location' can both relate to irrigation centers or to areas like Governorates or agro-climatic zones.
Year: either a single or several (multi) years are shown. Years are statistical years (=calendar years in this case)
MCG: Main Crop Groups can either be shown individually (indicating each selected MCG) or as total. 'Total' refers to the total area occupied by the selected MCGs, you can select one, several or all MCGs.
Technology: 3 different irrigation technologies are distinguished: drip, sprinkler and surface. As with the MCG, the output can either show the area of selected technologies individually by technology, or as the total of all of the selected technologies.
