The Ministry of Water and Irrigation distinguishes between 12 different agro-climatic zones. They are both defined as GIS layer and as database table AGRO_CLIMATIC_ZONES (ACZ). For each ACZ specific Net Irrigation Requirements (NIR) have been precalculated.
